Spoiled by Wet N Wild "First Class Only"

Have you heard? Spoiled by WnW are on sale for 99 cents this week at CVS.  I absolutely love this line, even at full price of $1.99 they're a steal.  I picked up "First Class Only" yesterday.  It is bright blue packed with micro shimmers.  It reminds me of a lighter version of OPI's "Swimsuit...Nailed It!

I applied 3 coats, although I think 2 would have been fine if I applied the first layer evenly.  3 coats did up the punch of this color....which I actually like.  As far as the brush goes, I had zero issues with getting a good application and my pinky nails are tiny.  This is with zero clean up!  I do recommend checking the brushes at the store before you buy them.  Some of them are funky looking.  I check the brush of every polish I buy, I don't want a messed up brush.

Pictures taken outdoors.  Topped with 2 coats of SH Insta-Dri Anti-Chip.  I mentioned in my last post I experienced bubbling with my top coat.  It was layering too many wet layers at a time.  I let these dry longer and zero bubbles!  Yay!

A England "Ascalon"

Today I have for you "Ascalon" by A England.  I have wanted this polish for a while, but never got around to actually buying it.  Well, I had a surprise birthday package come in from my dear friend Ashley.  You probably know her from Ashley Is PolishAddicted!  This was seriously unexpected and beyond sweet.  She also got me another beauty that you will see soon I'm sure.  All I can say is, she is in trouble when her birthday comes around!  Thank you Ash!! <3

"Ascalon" is a steel grey with an almost duo chrome of purple.  It also is a scattered holo, much like the color club holos.  Lovely for sure!

I wanted to wear this and the hearts you will see.  They don't really match, but that's what I love about this manicure.  The hearts really pop.  I purchased them from etsy from The Glitter Source.  It was my first time buying from them and I will be back.  The shipping was FAST and I think you get a lot of glitter for the money.  These bags will go far!  Thank you Bonnie and Dalit.

**I did experience some bubbles for the first time with the top coat.  I do believe it's because I did too many wet layers at a time.

Happy Holo Day (Birthday mani featuring OPI "DS Amethyst")

Happy Holo Day, Happy Saturday, and Happy Birthday to me!!!  I'm sure you may have seen some holographic manicures already today!!  Several of my friends and fellow holo lovers declared today "Happy Holo Day".  How fitting for it to be today, because by now we all know I L O V E holos!

I decided to rock OPI's "DS Amethyst".  I found this baby about a year ago at the salon my mom used to go to.  $7 well spent!!  This is the first time I wore it too...sinful...I know.  I decided to add just the stars from Wet N Wild's "Stars & Stripes" polish, and I love how it turned out.

Pictures taken in sun and shade.  I used 2 coats of DS, 1 coat Gelous, and 2 coats of SH Insta-Dri Anti-Chip top coat.

Lynnderella "Connect the Dots"

This is the second Lynnderella I own (and only the first I've tried).  I've wanted "CtD" for a long time and was sooo happy when Leah Ann and Lynn came up with the current wish list process.  To keep up to date to when new lists will be taken please check out Llarowe and her facebook page.

I decided to layer "CtD" over OPI "Do You Lilac It?".  The pair work great together!!

I'll spare you from the run down of this polish....you know the shapes and the subtle shimmer.

Been wearing this since Sunday (pics from then) and have zero chips or tip wear.  BONUS!

Mom's nails: OPI "DS Glamour"

Mother's Day was yesterday. one of the things I did for Mom was her nails.  I brought over "DS Glamour" because I knew she would love it, and I was right!

2 coats: DS
1 coat: Gelous (she is still recovering from acrylics and likes the added protection)
1 coat: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Anti-Chip

Sinful Colors "Secret Admirer"

First of all, Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there!!

Today I have for you Sinful Colors "Secret Admirer".  I'm not sure when this color was released, I've seen it around for a while.  It's in the core display at the Walgreens in my area.  It is a gorgeous black base swimming with silver/gray glitters.  The glitters are smooth too.  The application was great, I used 2 coats.

Run to your nearest Walgreens, Target, Rite Aid...and get this baby!!

Branching out...

I used to love doing eye makeup.  Then I became very lazy/stopped caring.  I honestly had gone about a year without wearing anything on my eyes.  Last weekend my sister gave me a bunch of eyeshadow.  She got me excited about makeup again.

Here is my look from today:

Lancome: The Pink Carpet (all over lid)
Ulta: Galaxy (middle to out corner)
Ulta: Pink (applied over the Lancome to tone it down)

I blended the middle so it wasn't harsh looking.  I finished with some black eyeliner and mascara.

I know this picture is pretty bad, I will get better!

Also, can anyone recommend a good eye primer that won't break the bank?  I suffer mid-day creasing.
